Award winning return janarion grant back to Toronto Argonauts vs. Redblack


Toronto Argonots is getting a big boost in their roster before the Sunday matchup with Ottawa Redblack, just not expecting one.

While quarterback Chad Kelly will continue on the injured list for a few more weeksThe all-star kick returning Janarian grant is set to make its first appearance of the 2025 season after recalling the first three matches with ankle injury.

The player of the most outstanding special teams of CFL led the league in 2024 in the Pant Return Yard (989), the Pant Return Average (14.8), and the Pant Return Touchdown (three). He also finished second in Kick Return Average (24.4), Kick Return Yard (1,000), and returned a kickoff for a score.

After a week’s absence, the lineup also has veteran receiver Davaris Daniel and Left Guard SEZ Dotstator, who kicks Ryan Hunter back to the right tackle. The freshly signed Canadian Defense Tackle J-Man Pelé will provide a physical element to the interior in its double blue debut.

However, this is not all good news for sailors. Strong-side-linebacker Kenneth George Junior has been placed in a six-game injured list after a disastrous knee injury last week. Geratte Martin will get the beginning in his first CFL game, while the partner will provide additional depth in the American Ruki Aaron Casey Linebacker.

Defensive end Derek Parish (ankle) will recall it in the injured list of one-game, making Da’Marcus Johnson from the first edge. Celestin Haba and Greg Rews will also wear clothes to be beef to pass Rush rotation.

Canadian linebacker Stephen Smith, American offensive tackle Hampton Argle, American receiver Jake Harsalo, Canadian Defense End Tyson Hergott, and American Defensive Tacquel Atlias Bell have all been deemocated in practice rosters. American receiver Calvin Turner Jr., who was handling the return duties, has quietly released.

Toronto Argonauts (0-3) will visit Ottawa Redblack (1-2) at TD Place Stadium on Sunday, June 29, with a kickoff for 7:00 pm with a kickoff slated. The current weather forecast asks for most sunny conditions with high of 26 degrees.

The game will be aired on TSN and RDS, CBS sports networks in the United States, and can be streamful to CFL+ internationally in Canada. Radio listeners can tune-in at TSN1200 in Ottawa, TSN 1050 in Toronto, or 104.7 FM in Gatino.
