Venus, our sister planet, shared striking similarities for the planet we call home: both rocky planets are with comparable orbits, and both shine as beacons in the night sky. Still Venus is also extreme – its atmosphere is the most dense in the solar system, a suffocating mixture of carbon dioxide by sulfuric acid clouds. Whereas life is inhuman as we know, Adam socol architecture practiceOr As soon as possibleHave found a way to channel your other aura in a worldly setting Venus lounge,

Inspired by the principles of astronomy and physics, space plays with perception and gravity. White arches, pitch at minor angles, frames the room with a deliberate sense of imbalance, encouraging visitors to feel the same flame and disorientation that can imagine in space. From the entrance, guests are congratulated with a flash of Cherry Red that flows into a sculpture conversation pit. Even in 2024 scientists discovered signs of recent lava flow on Venus – evidence that the planet remains active – here on Earth, Venus Lounge reminds us of our own restless, discovery of nature. This is a place that celebrates the community and connection, while there is a possibility of how we can gather on another world.
Adam Socol, the founder and principal of ASAP/, had the opportunity to study with famous historian and curator Barry Bergdol and theorist and critic Kenneth Frampton in Yale. It provides a more overall and informed approach about the principles of historical perspective design, which shows in the body of their work. A native New Yorker, his unique insight into the system that maintains the speed of design, accompanies him to Los Angeles, where his studio is based. Good designs are through, past and present – Asap/ reminds us of those timeless basic things.
