Aryana Sabalenka defends her title at 2025 US Open

It was a hot and rainy afternoon in New York when two electric players, world number one Aryana Sabalenka and World No. Eight Amanda Anisimova met at Arthur Ash Stadium for Women’s Singles Finals at 2025 US Open on Saturday. It was a matchup in which the crowd was happy with joy: while the defending champion, Sabalenka had so far won a major victory this year, Aneesimova – with a thrilling victory over the IGA sweatek in the quarter -finals and Naomi Osaka In Semi – his second consecutive Grand Slam was appearing in the finals, seeking his first major title.

Result? Win for Sabalenka, 6-3, 7-6, became the first woman to win two years at the US Open since Serena Williams in the 2010s.

Things closed for a strong start: Sabalenka fought three break points to hold her first service game and then broke Anisimova to take a 2–0 lead, after Anisimova, the post, hold, and then the break soon gave her a 3–2 lead. All times, crowds- including Simon Ashley, Naomi Vats, Courtney coxStephen Collbert, Chelsea Hamlers, John Ham, Reta, Rosie Perez, Common, and Basketball players Branna Stewart- There were obedients behind Aneesimova, who was born in New Jersey, it is not that it seemed to harass Sabalanka a lot. His attention was fulfilled, and long before he won four straight games to claim the first set 6-3.

The second set offered a reset: despite commenting to his team – and, during the change, for the umpire of the chair – that she could not see the ball when she served due to light (the roof was closed on Arthur Ash due to the weather), Anisimova held her first service game. Before breaking the second game of Anisimova, Sabalenka also did the same, which shows her shot variety – and the ability to some thrilling defensive game. Anisimova was not left far behind, however, after a supporting break, 3-3 was looking for its way for a draw.
