Earlier this week, Apple released its latest app, Apple Invites, a clever combination of iCloud services for digital event invitations. Apple invites are a great idea, but one I cannot help, but feels like, such as calendar, gmail, and photos, Google could do better.

Digital invitations are some that we have used in recent years. Simple ideas protect a lot of time and effort to send physical “Save-Det” cards, and there are many types of options.
Apple Invites are not breaking the new ground, in fact, but it is providing a product that its users already have better integrations with many services. You and your guest can add photos to a shark icloud album with the event. Everyone can cooperate with an apple music playlist. When it comes time to achieve the event, Apple Maps is ready to provide navigation.
It is a well -performed service, and, for Apple’s credit, it also works surprisingly well for Android users.
But I cannot stop wondering why Google has already not done this. In blindness, this is very clear.
The Google Calendar is already planner for so many people. By having such a dedicated invitation setup, it is specific to in-tradition events, which will lead a long way to simplify the plan, and with Gmail, messaging will be an air. YouTube music integration, and beyond this will make the standard YouTube, things even more powerful. The vast user of Google photos will also make shared albums a super nice here, and perhaps without restrictions that apple have space for users without the iCloud account.
This is actually an important piece for puzzle here. While the obstruction of Apple to enter for the invitation is remarkably low, it will be even less for Google huge Most people have a Google account. Even if you are an iPhone user, you Perhaps There is a Google account, something that is not right for anyone for iCloud who does not invest in the ecosystem of Apple.
I think it would be amazing to bake the efficiency of Apple invited in the Google calendar. But with the focus of Google on AI features, I suspect that it would be a priority, even if the version of Apple is closed in popularity.
