Antonio Marras Pre-Fall 2025 Collection


With “collections between high land”, Antonio Marras only detected boundaries in the form of divided lines on geo -political maps; A trip from the peaks of Gainargantu Masif in Sardinia, up to the Balkan Mountains between Serbia and Bulgaria. The Pre-Fall 2025 Lexicon was born from an old embroidered hat, with his wife Patricia’s grandfather, returning from Eastern Europe after World War II, hanging in his country house. The collection depicts a trip made by a fictional woman named Atonona, while her family memories were weaved through ribbon.

“With this trip, I return to use two words, which I was often labeled, before they ended by fashion terminology: Lok and Ethnic” said. With a unique ability to weave beauty dialogues, only mastered by those who could handle the tradition in contemporary ways, the designer created a place that decided to get acquainted with unfamiliar. The collection is a mixture of memories transferred to modernity. Prints and floral motifs, along with recurring elements on the negativity -on light clothing, are inspired by the reconstruction of chronic foulard designs or embroidery found on an old cap. In other places, a mixture of tacles and jacquard, masculine fabrics and lingerie, and denim and striped cotton added another element to the collection that was still grounded in reality.

Calf hair and shear, a second skin, jersey and upsical fabric patchworks, laces, sequins, aged leather, tulle, and wool: Clothing reflected a fusion of cultures that were distant souls. The same color is applied to the palette, where warm and dark tones such as brown and pink were interrupted by apple green, turquoise or acid yellow shine. Rounding the collection was made of maxi bijoux recycled plastic, sneakers, and wooden platform clogs that worked as a type Madeline de prousAs the designer’s father sold a similar model in his clothing shop. Once again, Antonio Marras imagines people to be anywhere during the present living.
