Alex Palu claims that Fox’s investment will be “very big” for Indycar


The Indycar series entered a new era after last week’s announcement that Fox Corporation has purchased a third stake in Penscay Entertainment, Indycar’s original company and prestigious Indianapolis motor speedway.

While the long-term effects of the move are still many unknowns, Fox steps as a co-owner-this season indicates a commitment to shape the future of the series after being already included as an exclusive broadcaster. The announcement outlined the ambitions such as racing innovation, immersive content strategies, converting increased digital platforms and drivers into domestic names.

Alex Palu, who has become the face of Indycar by winning three of the last four championships-and certainly in the Grand Prix of Portland is one fourth at the end of next week, as well as to win Indianapolis 500 in last May, the arrival of Fox as a part-owner believes that the right direction is a step in the right direction.
