My Air fryer sweet and sour chicken The bowls have super crispy chicken, vibrant veggies and a homemade sweet and sour sauce! I like to make this recipe at the end of a busy week when I want something that tastes like takeout. Sweet and sour sauce is so tasty and requires only a few materials. Bonus, my kidos like this recipe very much!
- Complete food in a bowl: When your chicken air is frying, serve it on the step chili and onion, and rice bed.
- Super crispy chicken: I’m making Air fryer recipes For years, and it is one of my favorite! I like every opportunity to make extra crispy chicken (without a deep fryer!), And it kills a seriously. Toss the chicken in my amazing sweet and sour sauce, and enjoy.
- Taste like taste: I love sweet and sour chicken, but do not always love the component list when I order it for takeout. My sweet and sour sauce for this recipe is naturally sweet with honey and orange marmalade, and chili is just a little spicy with garlic chutney (Sriracha also works!).
Especially displayed material
- Cock: I like to use boneless skinless chicken breasts for this recipe, but boneless skinless thighs will also work.
- Bread pieces: Panco helped fry breading for chicken in the air for its extra crunch.
- Orange marmalade: My secret sauce component! It gives this sweet and sour chicken amazing sweet taste and makes the sauce a little thick.
- Cornstarch Sllery: The solution is important to thicken the sauce! Do not want to use cornstarch? Just leave it, but know that your sauce will be slightly thin.
- Chili Garlic Chutney: Slight chili garlic sauce with sweet marmalade and honey (Sriracha will also work!). I like to go a little lighter on the spice when I am serving it to my kidos, and then add my little extra before serving.
- rice vinegar: The “sour” tastes correctly to balance the sweetness in the sauce.

My Immediate utensils white rice The recipe is a go-to! It makes the right rice every once. When you are preparing the rest of these bowls, just make a batch of rice in the immediate pot. Easy peas.
Storage instructions
Store this air fryer sweet and citrus chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days. I like to heat my chicken and take the vegies back to the air fryer because it crisps the remaining well. Microwave also works!
