Air Canada’s latest aircraft will soon have a new look on the board.
The Montreal-based airline on Tuesday announced a plan to launch a new cabin appearance next year, including new mood lighting, additional overhead compartments and a overall fresh “vibi”.
The new design will debut on its Airbus A220 jets, the Canadian flag carrier said at a news conference organized by Airbus in Hamburg, Germany.
Passengers will start looking at the new interiors in 2026.
This will not just be a milestone for Air Canada: Cabin Refresh A220 will mark the onset of the “Aerspace” cabin of Airbus.

Known to a host of its wide light panels, ventilated and spacious cabin layouts, and updated, more practical features, the aircraft cabin already fly on a wide range of airlines on other types of aircraft.
