Maria Hogha Heilman decided to mark Aayuu’s “20 turn -around the sun” by launching her runway. In the Nils Streak Gallery, his guests saw ease and peace in speed. There is nothing showing about the designs of this brand, which feel simple instead of minimal because they feel that a congenital heat and aayayu (meaning that the soul in Aymaran, the language of indigenous people of Bolivia).
In twenty years, the goods of AIAYU are done in Bolivia, where the brand story began in 2005, as well as India, Mongolia, Nepal and Europe. The spring collection consisted of a crisp cotton shirtdress, linen shorts, scarfs such as a sweater wrapped around the neck and long tanks late on T-shirt fabrics. On the surface, there was nothing radical about any of it, yet the correct simplicity and restraint of a sleeveless sweater and trousers in blue complemented colors, says, wearing requires commitment and confidence. It may be so easy to paint these clothes in uncontrolled and lightly filled modern interiors because they were designed to live-and long races.
