Bondi took questions and insulted Democratic senators during that appearance.
“I want you to love Chicago as much as you hate President Trump,” Bondy taunted Senator Dick Durbin, D-Ill., when he asked whether the White House had consulted him before deploying federal troops to that city.
On Saturday, Poehler channeled Bondi to the committee, saying, “What’s going on, idiots? It’s very frustrating to be here.”
Asked if she agreed to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, Poehler scoffed and said, “No.”
“Before I answer, I would like to insult you personally,” Poehler told actor Mickey Day, who plays Connecticut Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal.
When another “senator” asked if the FBI had received photos of the President donald trump During the raid at the residence of the late sex offender Jeffrey EpsteinPoehler replied, “Sir, I wouldn’t respect that question even by lying.”
Bondy has faced criticism for months for reneging on his promise and other Justice Department officials to release public investigative files about Epstein.
Bondi wasn’t the only Trump loyalist to be roasted by SNL. When Fey appeared as Noem in the initial play, she said she was “the rarest kind of person in Washington, D.C., a brunette girl who Donald Trump listens to.”

“When does a dog get shot?” Day asked him.
Fey replied, “Dogs don’t just get shot. Heroes shoot them.”
While serving as governor of South Dakota last year, Noem revealed in a memoir that she had killed her 14-month-old puppies, Cricket, and an unidentified goat because the dog had an “aggressive personality” and the goat was “nasty and mean.”

She added, “Whether running a farm or politics, I never handed my responsibilities to anyone else. Even if it was difficult and painful. I followed the law and was being a responsible parent, dog owner, and neighbor.”
