McDonald’s is facing a possible boycott from customers on the decision to return its diversity, equity and inclusion policies.
The People’s Union USA is leading the “McDonald’s Blackout” starting on June 24 after staging “Economic Blackout” in February. The organization founded by Chicago -based musician and meditation teacher John Shwarz has staged boycott operations to mount “economic resistance” according to its website.
The People’s Union says on its website, “The idea that the DEI initiative should be abandoned, backward, retrograde and dangerous.
