Yuki Sunoda Its huge Emola F1 qualifying crash is accepted that it will have an effect, as they will have to return to the design of the previous floor in Monaco Grand Prix later this week.
Tsunoda faced a heavy accident in Q1 last Saturday as he rapidly eliminated the limit of the red bull in Tamburelo Chiren, which sent him to obstacles. The Japanese driver became unwell thank you, but heavy losses to the car meant that the team had to build an additional chassis with a new power unit and floor.
Speaking in front of Monaco Grand Prix, Tsunoda has confirmed his accident that he will return to return on the specification of Red Bull RB12 as compared to the team-met. Max VerustapaneMotorsport.com has learned that Tsunoda will return to the old, east-diamond floor of the red bull. Verustapane ran the new floor in Miami before Sunoda also received it in Emola, but then he damaged it beyond repair in qualifying. This is considered the only difference with Vastapane’s car at the end of this week.
“In the context of the package, I never run a full new package to be honest, even Emola was a bit different,” Tsunoda said. “I don’t think we are going to be a full (in Monaco), I have returned a step anyway, which is my fault.”
Tsunoda stated that her imola accident, which recovered from a point from one point in the 10th with a strong drive, showed that she still needed to create knowledge of how this year’s Red Bull reacted to set-up changes, jumped into Japanese Grand Prix without testing.
“Emola qualifying, it would not be that if I understand the car, to be honest,” he explained. “In VCARB, I don’t think I have crashed from myself since 2022. I was pushing too much, so it is just lacking how the car is going to behave with each set-up.

“The set-up I tried was completely new. To be honest, I think more red bulls change than the red bull. Vcarb car, even if we change it, I don’t think it will make a lot of difference. So, I just have to make it easy when I change the set-up and try something new.
“This is taking a little more than expected. But as a group, we and Woody (Race Engineer Richard Wood) and Cook (Performance Engineer Richard Cook) have a good relationship. Also from our side of the garage, we just keep learning every race.”
The 25-year-old job will not be easy around the tight streets of Monaco, which leaves very little space for error, but the pledge of Sunoda will gradually build speed.
“In the case of the track, I like it a lot, and I had good memories last two years,” he said. “Obviously, the Red Bull Car Monaco has a very bumpy car and it is not an easy car to drive, that is what Max said.
“So, I just need to create confidence and hopefully I can create a good qualification. You can’t just follow the same approach to Emola or other track where you have a little run-off, so I’m just going to create speed slowly.”
As with many teams, Red Bull has brought circuit-specific upgrades to cope with Monaco’s unique layout. The new parts include a high-dounge rear wing, modified brake ducts for cooling purposes and a tighter front suspension to allow more and more steering locks to cope with tight hairpins.
