Aftd’s Hope Rising Bed

On April 3, 2025, more than 400 guests gathered in the heart of the city of New York for an extraordinary night of glamor, generosity, and purpose: Ninth Annual Hope Rising Benefit, Hosted by the Association for Frontotemporal Division (AFTD). Zygfeld Ballroom combined the stars – both in the sky and in the room – to raise important funds for families affected by the frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).

This advantage picked up a stunning $ 1.9 million, all offered hope for those affected by this low-objective but devastating group in support of AFTD’s mission to run research and in support of brain disorders. The evening’s emotional center came to court courtesy the Academy Award winner Ariana Deboz, whose stirring performance set the Hardik Tone. The guests also heard a depth main speech from the Spencer Cline, who lost his father from FTD at only 14 years of age and later rode a bike across the country to raise awareness in their honor.

In the evening, it was excellently stear by journalist Paula Zahan, who served as MC, and attracted the crowd of a powerhouse-with Anna Vintaur, evening co-president, Donald Newhouse and David Zaslav, sub-Kuran Zone Berlin and Kathy Newhouse Mele lended their support.

But beyond star power and sophistication, hope was a night of growing profit connection and commitment – a reminder that was raised every dollar, understanding FTD, supporting affected families and a day, is a step towards finding a treatment. As AFTD CEO Susan Dicinson expressed, “Through innovation, cooperation and dedication, we are paving the way forward towards an treatment for effective treatment and this disastrous disease.”
