Acer revealed just a silly powerful chrombook convertible

IFA 2025 closes this week, and Acer is not wasting at any time. The PC manufacturer has just announced a variety of new types of new. Chrome OS Device and PC before the annual Tech Expo.

Perhaps the most notable chrome OS device is aluminum-clad chromebook plus spin 514, which features facilities MediaTek Companio Ultra 910 Chipset. Other notable features on this convertible include 14-inch touchscreen (1800p at 60Hz or 1200p at 120Hz) USI 2.0 with stylus support, 70Wh battery with juice up to 17 hours, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS storage. You should also expect Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, 5MP or 1080p webcam and an alternative fingerprint scanner.

Acer says Chromebook Plus Spin 514 will be available in North America and EMEA regions from next month. Expect the initial price of $ 699.99 in the US.

Acer has also revealed two new Chrome boxThe Chromebox CXI6 (see the first image above) is clearly more premium offering, with chip options included all the ways up to an Intel Core i3-1305U to a core i7 150U. It also has RAM up to 16GB and M.2 storage up to 256GB.

This Chromebox also brings a sleep of ports including five USB 3.2 General 2 ports, two HDMI ports, one display, one SD card slot, a 2.5G lan port, and a M.2 slot for the Wi-Fi module (and a) for the Wi-Fi module (and a). It is rounded by Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E support.

Want something cheap or a silent design? Acer fanless chrombox also offers mini CXM2. Expect more minor core glasses, such as an Intel N150 to N350 chip, RAM up to 16GB and EMMC storage up to 128GB. The chrombox also has a good variety of ports including five USB-A ports, two HDMI ports, one USB-C port (USB 3.2 General 2), and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It also brings Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

The Chromebox CX16 was launched in the US in December for $ 519.99. Meanwhile, Chromebox Mini CXM2 will be available in North America at an initial price of $ 329.99 in Q1 2026.

The respected brand also announced the Acer Swift Air 16 Today, which is a slim and light Windows laptop with Copilot Plus branding. In fact, the IPS variant weighs 0.99 kg (2.18 pounds), while the OLED model weighs 1.1kg (2.43 pounds). Expect your choice of 16-inch screen, as you can choose between 1,920 x 1,200 60Hz IPS display or 2,880 x 1,800 120Hz OLED panels.

Otherwise, the Acer Swift Air 16 AMD Rvenie 300 Series Chips (Rhizen AI 5 to Rvenne AI 7 350) thanks your Copilot Plus designation. The designation means that you have access to features like Microsoft’s Polarizing Recall Tool and Google Lens-style clicks.

The new laptop has RAM up to 32GB, up to 1TB of SSD storage, 50WH battery has a video playback up to 13 hours and capable battery in 2MP webcam. In terms of i/O, you should expect Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, two USB-C ports, a full-size USB-A port and an HDMI out.

Acer has not disclosed the US availability or pricing details for Swift Air 16, but it will be available in Emea markets in November at an initial price of € 999 (~ $ 1,163).
