Deep and rich colors including spruce, brick or persimmon and navy may seem like a great way to warm up a room, but Jill Leitner Kaplan, founder of Jill Leitner Kaplan Interiors, doesn’t recommend choosing bedding in these colors.
“These shades are very heavy, moody, and look like they’re falling every day,” she says. She urges people to choose colors that appear a little more effortless and timeless.
