Remember when buying a coordination bed frameDresser, and a large box retailer, was the way to present your bedroom from a large box retailer?
According to Jordan Ashkenazi, the founder and design director of the Element One House, this trend took a dated twist as it lacks character and originality.

Once, large freestanding wardrobes and oversized dresser were popular as they were practical for storage.
But Ashkeenzi is not a fan of these large pieces as they may quickly dominate most of the bedrooms, making the space feel more like a storeroom than a comfortable sanctuary.
“These pieces do not maximize the space or do not originally integrate with architecture,” Ashkeenzi says. Designers are now selected for sleek built-ins or Bispoke Jyionary, who offer clean lines that help creating a quiet environment, says ashkenazi.

Designers are saying goodbye to the bed frame, which are traditionally lean, such as sleeve beds and beds, with highly tautable or furore headboards, say AXT.
As the most important and largest piece of furniture in your room, your bed sets tone for the entire room, and old style beds can immediately date a bedroom.
“These pieces once tried to indicate luxury, but now stuck in another era,” AXT says. “Today’s beds are about all clean lines, natural materialsAnd textures that bring warmth and longevity. ,

Bedroom furniture with sparkly finish, ornate details, and shiny embellishments should be once thought out as glamorous and to create an elevated location.
Now, however, these very pieces can make the look of a bedroom cheaper because they “jar with current design directions,” according to Ashkenazi.
The bedrooms in Ashkenazi’s shares are made to be comfortable retreat, and highly wide furniture “disrupts balance and reduces the feeling of calming a bedroom.”

Instead, “Consider taking both beds and seating areas away from the center, building two areas within one place,” for a more casual and a place. Contemporary form Mac says.
