The 2025 Oscar brought this year’s award season last Sunday as a close, and the editors of the wear have followed the best, best and trendyst fashion throughout the season.
“Personally, I could not stop thinking about the Shiapareli Haute Couture of Ariana Grande by Daniel Roseberry, styled by Mm Cuttack. I mean, it was just innocent, in my opinion. The perfect end for his Glinda trip. The perfect end for his Glinda Yatra. I think it was built with more than 100,000 crystals.
Associate Social Media Editor Kayla Alan was also amazed at Grande’s Haate Couture Look. “It was actually made in a subtle pink color for him because it was originally more than a cream on the Shiapareli runway, I believe. And if you actually look closely on the skirt, it has a very little glow. So I think he thought that he did the right amount of Glinda that was a beautiful architectural dress, but it was very clearly made for Ariana.”
For the latest episode of The Hu What Wear PodcastShouseler, Allen, Associate Director Erin Fitzpatrick of Fashion News, and Senior Fashion and Social Media Editor Tara Gonzalez shared their favorite look of the year, the trends that they are ready to leave behind, and stylists who are at the top of their game throughout the season.

Kayla Alan: I want to go with Lily-Rose Depp’s channel look. I am not looking at a ton of people, talk about it now, but I think it’s one of the things we will see back as a year and just love. I am a little biased because I am recently in Peplum recently. Lily’s dress had a short fabric attachment to the waist and then there was a rein the neckline, and I think something was really beautiful about the silhouette. In this way there were small sequins, such as tied it together and realized that an award is too high for the show, but it was still very true for Lily’s style.
Bobby Shouseler: Okay, so after-parties are also very large. People actually show only those after those Oscars. What were you watching?
Erin Fitzpatrick: I had a favorite Cai Garbar. She wore a vintage valentino dress and a cape since 1997. And, you know, after these-parties, a lot of sparkly formfiting dress, so many sheer naked clothes, that I think it was fresh that Kaya broke the mold. And then it is apparently controversial. But I liked Zoë Kravitz at St. Laurent. He had a little Aries butt window, if you do behind the dress. I am not sure what it has to say. What would you call it, Bobby?
BS: A butt window?
EF: I saw the comments on the social, and they were negative in a way, saying that it was bad taste or something else. And I like, the dress is completely covering her arms, her legs, her cracks. So is wrong with a small cheek in the back, you know? It was cute.
BS: I mean, this is fashion. I mean, we are fine with a little cheek.
Of: I agree, free the cheek. Like, it is not so deep. I think something is a little stimulating (eg) very suitable for Vanity Fair (Oscar party).
Tara Gonzalaz: I think I am really controversial too, because I also thought it was really fun. And we also saw cheeks on the runway in the diesel show. He had a truly low -growing jeans. Alexander Mcquin also did this forever. So I think it’s fun; I’m in the.

BS: Okay, so (Golden) looks somewhat favorite from the globe? Kayla, what was your standout look?
Of: I loved Ayo Adebiri’s lowe suit. I saw some reporting that it was inspired by the look of Julia Roberts since the 90s, which I like because it is one of my favorite. But I like that they do not rebuild the exact moment. He had this amazing gold-dubbed wing tie that tied it together and made it feel a little more modern and fresh.
BS: I loved it very much. Okay, Tara, what was your favorite?
TG: So I am always thinking about Nicole Kidman. As we come to this place for magic, but I go to the pictures of Nicole Kidman for magic. I mean, she always looks amazing. And she wore this silver Balensiaga gown. And I think what was interesting for me about it, a silver gown in an award show – sometimes it can feel a little blown, the kind of thing everyone wears or, you know, you don’t really miss. But the cut was so special. It was away from the shoulder. There were a small fabric around the center that really felt that it was a gown, but it felt like two pieces, and had a train, but it was not much.

BS: Can you indicate any stylists who actually used to do just a wonderful job?
Of: Stylist is an unuser hero, and I am always very happy to talk about them because they do such incredible things. If I had to choose a favorite late, I think it would be a gerade aller. I am a big fan of him. And from my point of view, I think she has played such a big role in shaping Sabrina Carpenter in a pop star. And he is made like such a different but classic look for him. He is just so old Hollywood, but also modern. And I think it is difficult to really do and execute. And his look is always so innocent.
TG: I really love the Genesis Web. And I think she is not only putting Chapel Rowan in these incredible arithmetic appearance, but she is also preparing Lisa among really amazing emerging designers. He recently dressed her in a wiseerhoeft look. And this is really very good because obviously we look at a lot of big houses represented on the red carpet, but it is surprising when you have a stylist who is actually with the fact that people are really excited about fashion and small emerging designers.
