Instead of homescreen widget, now you can launch Google Play Collection using the app shortcut.
Update 2/24: The collections app shortcut is widely rolling out widely with version 45.0.21 of Google Play. To get the latest play store, open the avatar menu for settings> About> “Update Play Store” very low. After updating, be sure to open the first app before pressing the homescreen icon for a long time. (This joint intervenes in your apps for my apps.)
You can only launch the collection from the app shortcut, but the feed will indicate you with the “see the widget option”.
Original 2/17: First, you can only launch a watch, read, listen, shop and social feed by placing a widget on your homescreen. The smallest configuration was once shown to four shortcuts and app library, with 2 × 1 most compact size. At the other end, the collection can take your entire homescreen directly to show the integrated feed.
Google is now starting to present an app shortcut. When pressing the play store for a long time, “collections” will sometimes be useful with my apps. This launches the feed immediately.


Like all other app shortcuts, just pull it on your homescreen to get an icon. This app shortcut also means that you can use a device search like a pixel launcher to bring “collections”.
We are looking at the shortcut to this collection with version 44.8.15 of Google Play Store, but is a server-side component and it is not yet widely rolled.
