Sigma i-series prime receives a reunion including the silver version for the L-mount

Sigma 45 mm F2.8 DG is showing the new typefase of Sigma, contemporary.

Rendering: Sigma

Sigma’s I-series prime lens will be the first to lose the ‘DN’ designation with the updated editions of the first nine lenses of the Prime Lens Company and the first nine lenses adopting the branding.

All nine lenses maintain their original optical formulas and only change in their external appearance. The exception to this rule is the original 45 mm F2.8 Director General Contemporary, which is now compatible with the magnetic lens cap to be used in the rest of the series.

To match the silver version of Sigma’s new BF Mirrorless camera, the silver version of the I-series lens will also be available. Prices of all nine lenses remain unchanged.

New designation for Sigma’s I-series lens: US MSRP:
  • Sigma 17 mm F4DG contemporary
  • Sigma 20 mm F2DG contemporary
  • Sigma 24 mm F2DG contemporary
  • Sigma 24 mm f3.5 dg contemporary

  • Sigma 45 mm f2.8 Director General Contemporary
  • Sigma 50 mm F2DG contemporary
