Danny Trejo throws punches, chair after water balloon hits parade car – National


Danny Trejo he doesn’t want people to pick on him, even if it’s just with a water balloon.

At the celebration, Trejo drove a vintage convertible with his name plastered on the side door. As he waved to the crowd, someone on the sidewalk threw a water balloon at the vehicle.

The 80-year-old actor got out of the vehicle to confront the person who appeared to have thrown the projectile.

Trejo threw the first punchaccording to local news channel ABC7.

The other man, whose identity has not been made public, returned fire but missed.

Trejo fell to the ground as several other people joined in the fight. After regaining his balance, Trejo threw a folding chair.

In a video shared on social media, a passerby can be heard shouting “There are children here!”

Others stepped in to stop the fight, one of them holding Trejo by the arms.

Eventually, the police arrived and further defused the altercation. arrests were made, TMZ reported.

Trejo told the tabloid that the ball throw was “childish” and that the person who threw it was a “coward.”

A witness told ABC 7 that water balloons were a common sight during the parade, with many participants throwing them into the crowd.

“The reason Danny was so mad is that people don’t usually throw water balloons at luxury cars when they drive by,” Stanley Herrarte told the outlet.

Trejo is best known for his tough guy roles in films, most notably his iconic portrayal of Machete in the eponymous film series and other films, including From dusk till dawn And Predators.
