We went straight with us to fancy Roasted peach and Gowda grilled cheeseBut we have not shared our classic grilled cheese recipe that everyone knows and loves on the site … so far! And you know that we have to erupt our special. This is the recipe of grilled cheese and tomato soup (not to tot our own horn). You would not like to make it in any other way.
While it is clearly homemade, this tomato soup and grilled cheese recipe is super easy – aka easy when you are hungry for hungry children at home!

Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven on medium/high heat. Add the onion to the pan and weather with ½ teaspoon of salt. Cook the onion for 7-9 minutes.

Add tomato paste and garlic to onion and saute for extra 2 minutes.

Next, add crushed tomatoes, peel and add tomatoes, chicken broth, warsesterushair and brown sugar to the pot. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture into a boil on medium/high heat.

Reduce the heat and let the soup boil for 5 minutes.

Transfer the soup to a high -speed blender (we like a vitamics) and carefully mix the soup until it becomes completely smooth.**

Transfer the soup back to the Dutch oven and allow the soup to heat on medium/low heat, while you prepare grilled cheese.

Butter on one side of each piece of bread.

Place two cakes cheese slices and a slices of Gowda on a slices of bread, and then place the second piece of bread over the cake cheese. Cancel.

Next, heat a large pan on medium heat.

Add grilled cheese to the pan and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.

Flip the grilled cheese and cook for an additional 2-4 minutes on the other side. The cheese should be completely melted before removing the grilled cheese from the pan.

Slice each grilled cheese sandwich in half, and serve with tomato soup.
- The option to mix the soup with an immersion blender in the Dutch oven. Note that we recommend a high -speed blender as it leaves you with a smooth soup.
- You can use any type of bread for grilled cheese. We used cakes cheese and Gowda cheese, but feel free to use any other melted cheese.

Equipment needs
- Dutch oven: You will need a Dutch oven to make your tomato soup! It is also the best option for cooking and easy cleaning. We prefer to store our remaining soup in the Dutch oven in the fridge to the right.
- High-speed blender: We prefer a vitamics to mix soup for a smooth and creamy stability. If you want, feel free to use an immersion blender.

We recommend and use freshly chopped cheese, which contain good recession, such as cake cheese, Gowda and American Cheese. These three cheese have great melting properties and have great tastes together.
We do not recommend using anything older because they will not melt well.
