Leica Camera Ag is launching Leica Lux Grip for iPhone today.
The camera grip affects with its spontaneous operation and high quality construction, while, at the same time, determines new standards for photographic precision using a smartphone. Leica Lux Grip is similar to a classic Leica camera in terms of its handling and feel. Its apparent design, sophisticated operating concept and easy attachment – guaranteed by safe magnetic magsef technology – improves ergonomics and functionality of smartphone photography, takes it to a new level. Lux Grip and iPhone communicate via Bluetooth low energy (BLE) and complement perfectly by Lika Lux app.
All physical controls of Lux Grip continuously express the design philosophy of leaka and combine familiar experience of using a professional camera. The 2-stage shutter release focuses with light pressure and starts shooting when pressed down completely. A button allows you to quickly switch between shooting mode. Two control elements can be assigned and optimized by individually through Leica Lux App. While a button provides quick access to the functions used, easier-to-gray control dial camera enables the accurate selection of settings-like zoom, aperture, shutter speed and exposure compensation. This means that photographers have all the necessary aspects of image composition in their hands, even when using smartphones.
The Leica Lux App turns off the photographic experience by adding the surefire image and color of the lens of the lens. Summilux-M or Bokeh effects of NOCTIlux-M can be used to deliberately emphasize facilities while maintaining complete control over exposure, ISO and shutter speed.
