Hawaii bound flight forced to return due to smoke in cockpit seattle airport Shortly after takeoff on Monday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the airline told Fox Business Hawaiian Airlines Flight HA21 returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after departure due to smoke in the cabin. This is Daniel K. in Honolulu. Was headed towards Inouye International Airport.

The captain declared an emergency for priority handling and the Airbus 330 landed in SEA without incident, the airline said.
Medical and fire personnel met the plane at the gate and all 273 passengers and 10 crew members deboarded the plane safely.

Once the plane was cleared, the Port of Seattle Fire Department boarded the plane to investigate and found no smoke or odor, airport spokesman Perry Cooper told The Associated Press.
