after Signing of a multi-year agreement , It is reportedly worth over $100 million – Earlier this year, Alex Cooper, host of “Call Her Daddy” with SiriusXM, splashed out his wealth by buying a home for his parents.
“In a Christmas episode ofcall her daddy,” Cooper revealed that her parents were visiting Los Angeles, California from her home state of Pennsylvania when she and her husband, producer Matt Kaplan, surprised them with a shopping spree.
“I get emotional thinking about it because when I started ‘Call Her Daddy,’ I had somewhat of an idea of what I expected it to be,” Cooper says.
“To be able to go to my parents with Matt this summer, and be like, ‘I want to buy you guys a house and I want to do this for you. I want to do this for you. So excited to be able to do this and I don’t want anything in return. I just want you to be happy and I want you guys to enjoy it and thrive,” she adds.
This summer, Cooper and Kaplan went to look at a house for her parents and fell in love.
“It’s a house originally from New England. My parents are from the East Coast. We love New England style. I remember walking into this house and seeing it for the first time and thinking, ‘This is my mom, ‘” Cooper says.
When her parents came to LA to see the house, they also fell in love with Cooper’s favorite property. What her parents did not know at the time was that Cooper had secretly bid on the place and was actively trying to buy it for them.
“It’s a great feeling and it was an emotional moment when I told my parents I was going to buy this house for them. We all cried. It just meant so much because I was going to be there without my parents. Would not be where I am today.” ” she says.
“Buying a house for them is the least I can do. They sacrificed financially and emotionally. They sacrificed for me in moments with my other siblings. It feels really crazy and unbelievable that I can do this.” Do that,” says Cooper.
Although Cooper did not reveal how much he paid for the house, he said it was about 10-15 minutes from where he and Kaplan live.
according to Architectural DigestCopper and Kaplan live in a $10.7 million home in Studio City, California, which they purchased in 2022.
In the episode, Cooper also shared that his parents are set to move in in the new year after Kaplan completes renovations.
“This is the next chapter of my life… it feels perfect,” Copper says.
