It’s no surprise that this is a combo that beverage giants keep bringing back time and time again, because whether it’s the early Vanilla Coke, the more recent Orange Cream, or even a classic coke swimFans—like me—can’t get enough.

Coca-Cola introduces new Cherry Float flavor
If I have to choose a cola flavor other than OG, most of the time I’m going with Cherry. Where vanilla provides a rich, soft balance, cherry provides a bright, almost tart gradation. So when I saw the new Cherry Float flavor, I knew it had the potential to become my new favorite. I’m happy to report that it did not disappoint.

I first tried Cherry Float flavor of Coke
This year I got an early preview of the flavor from the Coca-Cola team NACS trade show. My first sip brought me straight to a sip fountain soda at the movie theater at high school. The deep caramel notes blend perfectly with the creamy vanilla up front, and carry on with the tart-but-sweet cherry finish. It was bubbly, cool and refreshing, yet very comforting and satisfying. As a frosty soda should be, this one is nostalgic in all the best ways.

Others are questioning whether this is just a rebrand of the aforementioned Cherry Vanilla, but either way, the discussion has started in full swing.
Cherry Float and Cherry Float Zero Sugar will be available in stores in February 2026 in a variety of sizes. The brand’s new mini bins will appear in convenience stores from April. So, when you’re looking for a pick-me-up in the middle of winter, this is the perfect choice – the “cream” of the crop. I know I’ll be stocking up when Cherry Float hits shelves for its special one-year, limited-time run. Fingers crossed this is a big enough hit to catch a permanent place On Coke’s Roaster.
