Two-time IndyCar Champion Will-Power Will make his sportscar racing debut by racing a Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the 75 Express at the Indianapolis 8 Hours on October 16-18.
Power will partner with team owner/driver Kenny Habul and Supercars star Chaz Mostert as part of an all-Australian line-up for the final round of the 2025 Intercontinental GT Challenge.
The announcement makes the 44-year-old the second IndyCar champion in two years to compete in the Indianapolis Enduro, following Chip Ganassi Racing star. alex palou Joined the Lone Star Mercedes organization in 2024.
Power was scheduled to compete in his first sportscar race with Abul’s Sun1Energy team at the Daytona 24 Hours in 2023, but had to pull out of the competition due to complications from surgery to care for his wife Liz.
Despite being a novice in sportscars, Power has a strong track record at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, having won at the famous oval on five occasions in his career – including the Indy 500 in 2018.
Australian, who will switch Andretti’s IndyCar squad in 2026 after Ending a long relationship with PenskeWill also be able to rely on the experience of Abul and Mostert.

Hubul is a two-time winner of the Bathurst 12 Hour and is aiming to capture the IGTC Independent Cup title in Indianapolis, with just six points separating him from joint championship leaders Antares Au and Ralf Bohn.
Mostert is best known in Supercars as the lead driver for Walkinshaw Andretti United, where he won 25 races, but his sportscar exploits have also seen him take class wins at the Bathurst 12 Hour and Spa 24 Hours.
Another famous driver tackling the Indianapolis 8H for the first time is the MotoGP legend valentino rossiJoe will race for WRT at the wheel of the #46 BMW M4 GT3 Evo. He will have two familiar team-mates in Kelvin van der Linde and Charles Weerts.
A total of 25 cars will line up for the sixth edition of the Indianapolis 8 Hour, with 11 of them fighting for overall honors in the Pro class.
