Harrison Burton will part with AM Racing after 2025 NASCAR season


Harrison Burton separating from am racing After one season with the team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He helped elevate the small organization by making it to the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs before being eliminated in the first round. “I want to thank AM Racing, Tim Self and Wade Moore for the opportunity and confidence in me at a critical moment in my career after missing out on my Cup seat in 2025,” Burton said in a statement Wednesday. “From day one, the group’s commitment and preparation helped us deliver solid progress. To date, we have team-record top-five and top-ten results and the organization’s first-ever trip to the Xfinity Series playoffs. I’m proud of how we performed each week, competed at the highest level, and finished strong.

“I’m also grateful for the people who made it possible: our crew members, engineers, office staff, partners, and the fans who support us everywhere in our race. This season reminded me why I love competing; the teamwork, the focus, and the fight. I’m very excited about the next chapter and will announce my plans at a future date.”

AM Racing expressed gratitude for Burton’s contributions to the growing team, saying, “He helped elevate the program by recording team records of top five and top ten finishes and guided the No. 25 to AM Racing’s first playoff appearance. The organization thanks Harrison and the Burton family for their professionalism and contributions on and off the track, and wishes them continued success in Harrison’s future endeavors.
