This Fall 1995 collection, presented at the Plaza Hotel on April 4, 1995, has been digitized as part of Vogue Runway’s ongoing efforts to document the history of the fashion show.
Marc Jacobs’ Fall 1995 collection, presented in the Baroque Room of the Plaza Hotel, feels like a time lapse of early ’60s fashion. There were boxy suits and pillbox hats, headscarves and cocktail dresses, a white mink butterfield 8 Hints of space age design in veins, and cut-out looks closed the show. “The trendiest period of fashion for me was the ’60s,” Jacobs explains. circulation“If I saw those clothes walking down the street today, I wouldn’t say they looked retro.
