1839 Awards Announced the winners of its international photographer of the year competition. Professional and non-professional photographers in non-professional categories show excellent artistic and technical achievement in photography, as additional winners in many diverse categories do.
1839 Awards International Photographer of the Year – Jaime Travezán
Photojournalist made paintings and fashion photographer Jaime Travezán is this year’s international photographer. His award -winning series, “Dream”, was shot as a promotional material for fashion designer Ede Bakre and included rich, vibrant colors, creative compositions and innovative photo editing techniques.
Photographers say that he shot the campaign properly after returning from Namibia’s visit, and Travzan says that he was still “under the magic of the Red Desert in Sosuswali. He wanted to use some of that landscape. ,
“We took a picture of a brilliant beautiful Ollade in a studio in London against a plain white background,” says photographer. He and his team later associated these paintings with black and white landscape photographs with Namibia, which were creatively processed to appear lively and colorful.
For “Dream”, the Namibian desert demanded the use of Lal. Because the series is about a forestic state, I pushed that red to its limits, “Trevzan explains.
1839 Awards International Discovery of the Year – Lee Tung
Taiwan’s photographer Lee Tung, who has been making visual artwork for eight years, won the non-professional category in the International Photographer of the Year competition. His image, which also wins the “abstract” category in the non-professional competition, shows three naked bodies from behind.
“This work is an expansion of my long-term art chain form (體). I have always been deeply fascinated by the fragmented nature of human self-assumption,” Tung told about the winning shot, “Connected syntax.”
