Kevin Kid, head of the NASCAR crew and executive of the competition has been named for a long time, the North American Motorsports Competition Director for Stelanis.
In this role, Kid Ram and Dodge will oversee all motorsport activities in the NASCAR truck chain and NHRA for brands. Dodge competes in NHRA with Tony Stewart racing and will field five trucks with Kaulig racing in the next season.
“Engineering and competition intersection has always been my passion,” said Kid. The innovative approach for “stalentis” motorcysts, especially in partnership with Kaulig racing, presents a unique opportunity to pursue boundaries. I am eager to contribute new ideas to help push these efforts forward. “
Kid recently spent 10 years which is now doing RFK racing in various roles. Earlier, he was the head of a crew in Gibbs Racing, Eremnham Racing and Dale Arnhard Inc., in his 25 -year career at the highest level of NASCAR. He also served five years in the NASCAR Competition Advisory Committee.
He will directly report to Tom Saikoman, Senior Vice President of SRT Display Division Operations.
“Our unconventional approach demands a leader for competition who can think differently, and Kevin is exactly the same,” Saikman said. “His reputation in racing, combined with the capabilities of our teams, will help give our ‘last tenth’ performance philosophy.”
