French photography software company DXO has announced the latest version of its premiere film Emulation Software, Film Pack 8. The updated app introduced the Time War Mode, which is an interactive way to detect the rich history of photography with new film rendering options.
Taking digital photos on a 200 -year journey through photography analog past
In 2023, DXO introduced filmpack 7In which there is a “time machine” mode that allows users to detect famous photographs by reputed artists and learn more about each film stocks. The time machine mode now has 17 more historical images and their related rendering. In addition, in the Film Pack 8, a new time taunt mode celebrates the rich analog history of photography.
Time Warp includes a new “Time Travel” slider inside the Film Pack 8, which allows photographers to take one of the film’s most reputed shares and cameras in his 200 -year history. DXO Film Pack 8 adds 15 new analog films to its emulation catalogs, including Cinestel 800T, Harman Phoenix 200, Lady Gray B&W 120 ISO 400, and Kodak Tmax Pro 3200, which brings out the total number of film rendering and effects in 153. Photographers can mix rendering and adjust each effect. DXO claims that in Film Pack 8, “the most comprehensive library of confident analog styles has been gathered.”
The updated app also includes analog-inspired effects, including texture, frame, and light leaks. These are re-presented at high resolution, ensuring that modern high-megapixels are applied to raw image files they look good.
Adobe Photoshop Integration
The new update also changes how photographers use filmpacks. The filmpack 8 is now fully integrated with Adobe Photoshop. This means that photographers can use the full suit of the film rendering application as a palette inside the photoshop and apply DXO’s film layer or flat images without switching the software. Like the pre -versions, the filmpack 8 is fully compatible with the Adobe Literoom Classic.
Scanning tools and more
The filmpack 8 is not just to edit digital photos; It can also be used to work more effectively with a home-scandal film. The photographer filmpack 8 can reverse the color or tannwala values of black and white negative with the same click inside, and the software includes access to the 10 dedicated tone curve presets designed to address the normal color shift and density issues.
The app also includes digital camera rendering, not only the film. There are four new rendering inspired by popular Fujifilm and Sony digital cameras, as well as their respective color science.
