The Toyota 2026 will introduce the first update of its GR010 Hybrid Le Mans Hypercar for four years for the introduction of the 2026 World Dheeraj Championship campaign.
Kazuki NakajimaThe Vice-Chairman of Toyota Gazu Racing Europe confirmed that its hypercar class contenders, introduced in 2021 in 2021, would upgrade.
This took place during a press briefing for Japanese automotive media in the Fuji WeC round of the previous weekend.

He said, “We need to overcome problems that we are doing and build a car that is fast crazy, and then it is adjusted by the balance of performance,” he said.
Kobayashi said that Toyota needs to develop a car that is “so fast that it is capable of winning even when the BOP is given maximum weight and minimum power”.

Toyota’s GR010 only upgraded performance for its second and third seasons, 2022 and ’23.
The first set was focused on the switch from the front and back of the same size tires, as demanded in the original LMH rules, to narrow the fronts and wide rear.
These changes did not count the EVO clowns to their tally as Toyota successfully argued that the design of GR 010 was compromised in LMH rules to bring them to the LMDH category in 2023.
Toyota, with the majority of other manufacturers, has never revealed how many clowns he has played. This is allowed a total of seven to the end of the symmetry of current cars in Hypercar in 2029.
