Super formula champion Sho Tsuboi has been ruled for its second Formula 1 Test outing on the wheel of a Has VF-23 next month.
The Toyota-unalanded Tsuboi had the first taste of the grand prick machinery He participated in a specially organized TPC test at Fuji Speedway in Japan in early August.,

“At this stage I would say it is going well. He has run hundreds of laps in Fuji, but while driving the F1 car, he said that he could not believe how much there is a grip in high -speed corners.
“Especially going into Turn 1, I don’t remember how fast it was (compared to super formula), but it was probably around 30 km/h, and he could break much later. Breaking performance was so different.
“But once he reached the early shock, he adapted incredibly quickly.”
Tsuboi’s second opportunity to drive for HAAS comes at a time that Toyota is considering the way to the super formula and the future of the super GT champion.
However, it is unlikely that Tsuboi will start a full European racing program like its predecessor as a super formula champion Ritomo Miata, which is currently racing in Formula 2.
Toyota Gaju Racing Europe Vice President Kazuki Nakajima recently told Motorsport.com that Tsuboi’s 2026 schemes would be “dependent on their will”, suggesting that further Has Outing “could fill the gap in its program between its Japanese commitments”.
Tsuboi recently made his first outing at Nerburgering Nordeschelif at a Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo, in a possible indication that he could be part of a future attack by market on 24 -hour nearburging.
