It was a beautiful French provincial touch at the heaven Valley, Arizona, home, but there were also some dated details that weighed it. These included the odd group of arches, strangely proportional classical columns and chunky impure Adobe accents. The owner of the house, a couple with a teenager still at home, with the interior designer Amy Clostorman, with whom they supported the remodel of an entire house at a rear house.
The couple praised one of the recent projects of Prerna Clostorman. She says, “I suggested a clean, traditional style with a light palette of cream, ivory, tupes and off-black accents,” she says. In the kitchen, the designer replaced the hodges of styles and novelty devices with a streamlined, well -proportional elements and a sophisticated material palette. The result is a functional, elegant space with a clean-intelligent form.
