UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot dead in New York City on Wednesday as he headed to the company’s annual investor day. Insurance Branch of the Company, UnitedHealth GroupThe meeting was cancelled.
The NYPD immediately informed the public that the killing was a targeted attack, and a nationwide manhunt was underway. On Friday, law enforcement confirmed to Fox News that the suspected killer has left NYC.
