London Studio Bureau day change One is made Athens Greek jewelery designer Nicos is characterized by complex metalwork for Kuolis and an asymmetric window.
Voukourestiou takes cues from the flagship store, capturing the 1960s building on Street Nicos coolis‘Geometric jewelery design.
Greek architects Katerina Donisopolu and Billy Mavropolos off Bureau day change Applied ornate details for both shopfront and interior.
“We employed local craftsmen, techniques and technologies, inspired by Nicos’ compositions to create a place,” Mavarropolos told Dezen.
“We worked with amazing local manufacturers, metal workers, stone masons and joiners, which, including new aspects, to design every expansion in space,” he continued.
The early point for this facade was the travertine-frame window, which was shaped to look like two overlapping rectangles.
Asymmetry extends to other masked elements. An offset marble slab sits down, while the surrounding walls are decorated with aluminum details.
“Mashauta takes its proportion from nearby Ethanian city walls and reproduces them into aluminum,” Mavropolos said.
“On points, aluminum is emerged with a pattern reminiscent of the complex details found on the 19th -century jewelery boxes.”
More geometric details can be glimpse through the window, giving the shop a multi -layered experience.
These include a mejenine wrapped in enlightened glass prism, creating a zigzaging profile.
The architects “describe them as an enlightened curtain, which create a feeling of mystery about lying beyond”.
For the interior palette, dionisopolo and mavropolos chose the opposite material to make light and dark mixture with both polish and texual finish.
As soon as you enter, you face a deep oak floor, silk wall cover, lacqued wooden performance cases and other custom furniture pieces, including a green marble table and a decorative wall mirror.
The bewelld glass panels stand in front of a new ladder, reaching mejenine. This level has a mild, bright experience, sculpture with chairs and a white carpet.
Other prepared details include extruded aluminum door handle, which is folded and inaugurated with gold.
The project is incorporating several patterns and motifs in the Bureau de Change. Other examples include A lift wrapped in laser-cut bronze And An art deco annex for a home in London,
