Gopro’s new Max2 360 ° Camera adds Amy Award winning technology and 8K video capabilities. Gopro promises better resolution compared to the competition, easy-to-ripens lenses and professional workflow features.
Gopro Max2 is a rugged, easy-to-use 360 ° camera designed to capture professional-quality photos and videos. Gopro claims that its new camera is only “True 8K 360 Video Capture Camera” on the market, citing 21% more resolution than competition.
This claim refers to the fact that the Insta360 X5 360 ° 8K video is technically lower than 8K resolution as compared to flat videos. Insta360 details on its websiteGopro claims that the Insta360 X5 captures the 7.27k 360 ° video, while DJI OSMO 360 captures 7.42K video.
Gopro founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman says, “Max 2 is the best, most durable 360 camera in the world-its leading 8K video resolution, better color and overall image quality, industry-agency six microphone six microphone audio performance and convenient twist-off are glass lenses.”
Gopro Max2 captures 10-bit videos, and advanced users can use GP-clog to maximize the dynamic range of the camera during post-processing. A new Davinci resolution will make it easier for creators to edit your Gopro Max2 footage for professional output from plug-in. Still for images, the Max2 captures 29-megapixel photos using its two image sensors.
The camera’s high-end 8K video capture tops the 30p frame rates, while 5.6kp60 and 4kp100 videos are also available for 2x and 3x slow-motion capture. All recording mode features Gopro’s Amy Award winner Hipersmuth technology, which is also included in single-lens video mode.
Talking about single-lens capture, it provides 4KP60 or 1080p60 recording either using the front or back lens. Each camera has an 180 ° area view, which enables ultra-wide photos and video capture. With image quality adjustment, there are also five “digital lens” options to adjust the viewing area. The Max Hyperview offers the longest area of viewing, while supervision dials down things to reduce deformity. Ultra wide point-off-view is great for capture and selfie, while wide and linear modes offer more natural looking images.
Audio is also required, and the Gopro Max2 has an industry-agronic six built-in microphones. The camera also works with a wireless microphone, including Bluetooth earbuds and Apple Airpods. Ambisonic audio entertainment will reach through post-launch support.
The camera has special modes including 360 time -wise, 360 night mode and 360 time laps. Using Gopro Labs, users can use many more settings and extensions, including 300Mbps bitrate recording, dual-haemisfare mode, 24P recording, advanced exposure features, a histogram, and more. Gopro Labs is a free beta software service where users can test the characteristics that are in development.
The new low-profile of the Max2 is a more aerodynamic design waterproof and is designed for high-effect action sports. It is only 360 ° camera with the underlying GPS and includes a “enduro” battery for cold weather. The camera also includes a changeable lenses of twist-end-goes, ensuring that manufacturers can always capture clear shots, even if their lens is scratched or torn. The lens can be replaced without any particular equipment.
