Adobe Literoom and Adobe Camera Rithink Landscape Toolkit for RAW aims to change the editing process of landscape photographer and introduce a coherent workflow and an array of flexible tools to improve your photo editing. What is in the toolkit, and does it actually help in the editing process?
As a landscape photographer, a challenge that I have continued to face is in my photo editing process. My knowledge of equipment and techniques to edit photos has definitely increased over the years, and I understand the nuances of the equipment available for me in Adobe Lighter, Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing software options.
But there is no real workflow in my editing sessions. I am like a dog chasing the squirrel, used separately almost every time with my approach and equipment, once I move beyond the original things. After a week, I often forget and ignore a technique I used. Or a technique I have learned is filed, and then I never remember to include it in my editing workflow.
A new set of tools made by the landscape photographer David Kingm comes the reethink landscape toolkit, which helps to define your workflow and provide convenient tools or presets to edit your photos. I am going to start by exposing what is the Rithink landscape toolkit and then share your experience using toolkit for several weeks.
Rithink Landscape Toolkit is a set of specific presets to help in your editing process and provides a seven-round workflow approach to a landscape image. The preset has a bad name, often associated with early photographers or is not originally applied to every photo with similar results. Rathink toolkit does not have a pricet global preset that we often think about, but finely tuned presets as a specific tool.
For example, Rithink can provide a brush set for doding a specific preset in the toolkit, or it can especially configure doding for highlights, midtones or shadows. You can click on the desired option, and the tool will configure a brush with those settings for that task. The core prepage stage is a mixture of tools to help you do things, such as imagine dust spots and white balance, or simply remind you to do some things, such as removing the deflection, may need to merge any photo, and likewise.

I received the Rithink Toolkit and the course together for reviews several weeks ago. I have used toolkit on different types of images since installing it. For all my toolkit work, I used the latest Adobe Literoom.
Let’s start with seven-phase workflows, pre-determined equipment in reconsideration toolcoat groups. I found a structured approach to edit a photo very helpful. One of my issues with my editing is that my order to do things changes for a month or more. Being a structured flow, I sat down to edit photos, helping to bring a feeling of continuity in my perspective.
From the main preparation of the file to the work through tones, color, and expansion, and finishing with any effect or custom selection, which I wanted to do was all the same. Since the importance of the order of operation in Adobe LightRom increases due to some of the AI devices, the core prepas are just invaluable.
Presets themselves are important time saver, which makes more complex tasks easier and more efficient. There are many things in the preset that I know how to do in Literoom, but sometimes leave the reason for the time it takes to make my facade, set my brush modifications, and so on.
With a click, most work is done with a click, with a reethink toolkit. Just adjust the brush flow and start your local adjustment. For example, if I want to bring highlights to the part of the image, I can choose the dodge highlights brush, set my flow, and brush in some highlights. Fast and easy.
Tonal, beyond the equipment, there were many presets, beyond the equipment to help target adjustments. I love my images a touch on the warm side, and one of the presets for color is called subtle warmth. Choosing the preset gave me a sign of heat in an image that I like. If I ever thought it was too hot or not enough, I could adjust its intensity using the amount slider for the mask. Being able to accommodate the strength of many of these presets through the zodiac slider helped me to make it.
This is what I really liked about Rathink Toolkit. This was not applying a preset to my image and making everything right, but it gave me a suit of equipment to use in Literoom which I could not use or use. And then, if I used one and thought that the result was very strong or not enough, I had flexibility to make those minor adjustments.
There are two caves to mention after using the preset for several weeks. First, if you select a preset, it is called midtonene contrast, and adjusting for it, then come back later and click on the midtony contrast preset again, it resets your previous changes. Keep it in mind while working with a toolkit. If you want to accommodate your midtonene contrast later after applying it, find it in your mask panel and adjust there. Do not re -present the preset. And if you accidentally reset it, simply use the lighter -undo the option to go back a step.
The second item is related to performance as I browse the preset. By default, Literoom applies the preset on the main image because you hover them to preview. Since the Rithink Toolkit presetes are doing some complex masking and fingers, I found that it could slow down my scrolling of the preset if I was going up and doing a section down because it tried to preview the effect, while I was already going to the next one. It was very helpful to disable the option “enable the preview of the preset in the loupe under liearroom preferences. You remember the large image preview, but you can see the effect in the preview image under the navigator.
