My mother made a small tweet in my living room and made it feel 10 times bigger

I recently went to a new apartment that my roommate and I have to design and decorate with scratch. While it is fun and exciting that we have an empty canvas to make our own, the living room is proving to be quite a challenge.

It is almost completely square, and simply enough to fit both a living and food place. Although it may look good – and it is – it is very difficult to concept to divide the area. I spoke with a designer Who helped me find this, but until my mother visited, I felt something.

Here is described how my mother helped us fix the living room with a small tweet, and everything else she had left better than before.

My mother has a very good eye for design and beauty, a genetic feature my sister stole everyone before being born. Therefore, I was actually committed to a certain layout, before my mother got a chance to see it in the person. When we fell unexpectedly after we fell a few weeks after going inside, I knew that it was my chance.

As soon as he saw the space, he commented on how small it looked when I showed him to Festey (thanks, mother…). But it was not that Space was really smallThis is that the way we excluded it, it left it Looks too tight It needs to be done.

The sofa was in the middle of the space, facing the wall, so that the area behind the couch could be used as one House officeAs the designer helped me make fun of it, we planned to put a dining room table behind the right hand of the couch next to the desk area.

This layout named a “zone” for every activity in the living space. Unfortunately, it felt everything fed up and fed together.

Immediately, my mother asked me to move the couch against the wall that was facing it. Although I was hesitant, we made fun of space because he had imagined it – it was immediately so much improved.

With a couch against the wall, we were able to fit a fit Big dining room table Where we wanted in the original corner. Instead of a desk, the TV will go against the wall away from the couch.

We are sacrificing our home office opportunities, but both my roommates and I like to work with the couch anyway. In addition, with this new layout, we were able to get a large dining table, as much as we thought we would be fit, and we can also work from there.

This structure makes the entire room feel open and ventilated, rather than that there are many areas where people will fictionally back to each other. Both windows lets go into too much light without a physical disturbance, which prevents you from staring out.

Most importantly, my cat approves the location of the new couch. So, perhaps this is where it will remain.
