With Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series, the company’s lineup has more options than before iPhone Air to iPhone 17 Pro Max (and we cannot forget the budget iPhone 16E). Comparison of cameras on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max is relatively simple; For most people, the main difference will be in the number of each phone cameras. Finally, there is air, which has only a single 26 mm wide-angle camera. Is Pro Max better than Pro?

As usual, Apple has stopped selling the previous generation Pro phones, but is still selling the standard iPhone 16 in about $ 100 by its launch price. Its main camera will be the same as standard 17, but its ultra-wide camera is a small (23.5 mm) 12MP model vs. 48MP one used by the current-gene. Like 16E, it uses old selfie cameras.
What else should I consider?
When you are buying a phone beyond its photographic abilities, there are a lot of things to consider. For example, the iPhone 17 Pro Max has a huge battery and a huge screen, both can work in those days when you are taking a ton photo. Pro phones also have a litni of video features, such as the ability to record the prior raw and log footage.
Meanwhile, the iPhone air is quite thin compared to other options, which can be good if you prefer a phone that does not take a ton pocket space. And, of course, there are countless Android options with your set of strength and weaknesses. But now at least you should understand how the cameras pile up to each other on the present-day phone of Apple.
