Kalale Rowanpera says that the World Rally Championship will need to win from the final round of the World Rally Championship season to stand on any occasion to lift the third world title.
The Toyota Driver was sitting second in the last weekend rally in the seven -digit standing in Chile, but the sebastian overtook South America from the Ogier, who shot in the championship lead after winning the fifth win of the season.
Rowanpera started a rally on a positive note, as a result of proceeding in an early lead with a rare mistake, Finn swipe a bank, knocking the rear-left tire from the rim, which took him more than a minute.
The 2024 Chile winner managed to move to the sixth position, raised 12 points in total, but was interrupted by road conditions in variable conditions, and continuously lack of confidence with Hankuk tires to make further progress.
“At this point of the season (win two phases) that we do not want, we need some results,” said Rowanpera.
“I think (road situation) was affecting more than expectation and at the same time there is no good speed in many situations and we had motion only in wet. As soon as it dried up that there was no good speed.

“This is quite clear, it is mostly time (not working with the tires). Suppose something can be decent, but when you start pushing, and if you are a little early on the road and you need to push a lot, it is not happening. If you need a lot to work, it is just not working.”
Asked about their title possibilities ahead of asphalt rallies in Central Europe and Japan, after the conclusion of a gravel season in Saudi Arabia, he said: “Obviously it is becoming more difficult at all times. We needed some good results here, especially before the Tarmac rallies, but we did not find him.
“He (Sebastian Ogier) is doing a proper work this year and he is leading the championship as he should do, he has given good results. It is clear that we will need something win if we want a chance.”
Last time when WRC competed on asphalt Rowanpera, smooth Termac in Canary Islands in April dominated the ground to win the roads, but the 24 -year -old is expecting a challenge when the series is prominent to Germany, Austria and Czech Republic next month.
“It will be a very different rally. There are lots of pollution and cuts and goods, it will not be the same, but we will try to do so (in canary islands),” he said.
