A Carrie, the northern Carolina, who preferred to travel, wanted to feel like a luxury hotel with their attached primary bathroom facilities with spa-style features. Their existing place – with a dark traditional double vanity, was a separate tub and attached shower – was generously shaped, but they lacked the welfare retreat environment he imagined. To help the design elevate and add modern comfort, he turned to design-found professionals Steve Minor and Raul Botista Pereze of Nobel Renovation.
The team rebuilt the old layout and built a modern wet room, connecting a state -of -the -art steam shower and an invited tub, which streamlines the footprint and provides a place for comfort and rejuvenation. A large custom white oak double vanity enhances storage by adding warmth and clean lines with a sitting makeup station. A marble accent wall, backlit mirror and soothing color palettes enhance calm, contemporary experience, withdrawing the couple of the next level that they were later.

First: Former traditional style bathrooms, with their roof and chandelier, felt heavy and dissatisfied. “There were high and uneven roofs,” Minor says. “We wanted to make clean lines.”
A wall held a double double vanity with a granite counter. There was a drop-in tub with one and a heavy tile deck that was difficult to use. On the right side of the tub, an enclosed shower had a narrow entrance. A window tried to bring light into space on the tub covered with the film. “That tub was really too long for the wife to get inside and out and dominate the bathroom,” Minor says. “The wife wanted a tub that was easy to get inside and out and wanted a steam shower, so how the design developed.”
Across the pride, out of the right, a water cupboard and a linen closet offered privacy and wanted to storage the owners of the house but refreshed.
The modern wet room has a custom black-tinted temporary glass attachment with matte black hardware. The lower segment mat is worn in the mat wood-loke fleated porcelain tiles, which creates a soothing atmosphere. Inside the weight room, a black oversize shower panel is applied on the roof. Just out of the entrance, a roof-mounted, humid-sensitive exhaust fan helps keep the bathroom comfortable and dry.
The back wall on the left is covered with a texture, split-supporting surface and interlocking design in Ivory-Tond marble panels. A large backlit mirror illuminates the wall, exposing the texture. “When we were trying to add a statement when you go in,” Minor says. “It also makes the room feel big. They love it. It adds a lot of plays.”
The floor 12-by-24-inch mat is white onyx-loose porcelain tiles with Wi-Fi-capable radiant heat. The rear panel door opens to update Primary closetPacked with storage solution. “We continued the floor tile there and have a hot floor and LED lights,” says Minor. “It also has a large window and an island there.”

The roof and edges of the bench and tub deck have the same wood -looking tile, used on the outer part of the wet room. The back of the floor and hut has mosaic marble stones. “In this bathroom, even the weight-room floor is hot,” Minor says. “The bench area is also hot.” The walls are worn in the same porcelain tile used for the main bathroom floor. “We ensured every inch of that shower to waterproof,” Minor.
The Oval White 6-Foot Drop-in Bathtub has built-in back support and armrest for rest. A smooth 8-inch matte black tub sputor coordinates with push-button rinsing (not shown) with a matte black multitunction hand shower. “This tub was dropped 5 inches from the height of the previous tub, so it is very comfortable,” Minor says.

All drawers are completely functional – there is no wrong front here. The drawers under the sink have U-shaped cutouts to accommodate plumbing, while two others include integrated power outlets for grooming tools. The twin white oval undermount sink is paired with beautiful curved spiny with modern single-lever matte black tap.
A pair of custom backlit illuminates the mirror wall and may shift between different colors. The lower-hit makeup station offers two drawers, an open cub and a round uphldard stool that is already owned by a couple. A black iron and glass pendant heat heats a warm, invited glow in light space.

First: In the original bathroom, a granite countertop and a dark double vanity dated the look and feel with traditional-style lights. A plain mirror that was earlier hanged over pride, when this photo was taken, was already removed. The water wardrobe appears to the left, with a partially seen behind the open door with the linen closet door that leads to the primary bedroom hallway.
