Add cinnamon sugar to sweet dishes, or dip it in Marinara Sauce For a delicious twist. Either way, your stomach will be happy.

We’ve given you the option of frying these guys in oil or cooking them in the air fryer – either way, it’s incredibly easy! Simply cut the dough into desired shapes and fry or air fry until golden brown and crisp on both sides.

Before frying, make sure that the oil is hot. To check the temperature, drop a small piece of dough into the oil, and if it starts to sizzle and rise quickly, it’s ready to fry!

Take the pizza dough out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before using.

To fry in oil, add at least 2 inches of vegetable oil to a Dutch oven or deep cast iron skillet and heat to 375℉.

While the oil is heating, cut the dough into 5-7 pieces. Using your hands, lightly flatten each piece and stretch into a long john shape.

When the oil is ready, put 1 to 2 pieces of dough in the pan. Fry for 30 to 45 seconds on each side.

Remove the frita from the oil and drop it into the sugar, tossing to coat.

Store leftover food in an airtight container.
