Briatore: The CEO of the new Renault will not have any impact on the future of the Alpine F1 team

Flavio Brytor has declared “everyone happy” Alpine A change of CEO in Formula 1 organization and original company Renault will not affect the project.

“It’s good, I know Steve is a long time,” said Brytor. “He was with me at the time of Renault and we need a person like Steve, we need a team manager, we need someone who knows the system, someone who knows people and coordinates someone from A to Z from A to Z.

“This is not the only task I expect from Steve, I hope to be in charge from Steve A to Z – what the managing director is doing.

“I am happy to be Steve next week, I believe the first day is Monday and we have the first race with Steve in Monza.”
