If you want to detect about six essential apps for night (and day) photography, you have come to the right place. Whether you have iOS or Android, these apps will greatly increase your photography. The sixth is definitely one that does not make it on several photography apps lists!
To be outside
Outside is the clear app that I use the most for night or day photography. It provides information for cloud cover. It provides information for low, medium and high clouds. If you are a landscape photographer, you know how incredibly useful this information can be alone. Most apps only call “clouds,” “clear,” or “partially cloud”.
The app also offers dark conditions, the rise of the sun and the moon, the moon phase, fog, rain, temperature, air, humidity, and more.
When I teach my night photography workshops, this is usually the first app that I mention. It is easy to understand and provides clear information.
As a bonus, you can save your locations. As a bonus, they also have a website that you can use for this thing. Learn more on Clearoutseide.com.
Miradar
As is clear outside, it does not reveal everything. There are other atmospheric conditions, such as the smoke caused by the fire, which is clear in the sky, or even you can see mountains or trees a few miles away. Myradar provides high-definition radar, noaa weather alert, temperature, forecasting and a wide storm tracker as well. It also provides models of winds, clouds, fog, and more, which you can show as adaptable layers. Learn more on myradar.com.
Photopils
This is a clear pick, but with a good reason. It appears that it all does and the more you want it becomes. Sometimes, I think I must be a bit of a scientist to do this work, but do this rewards patience … Okay, everything but kitchen sinks: Landscape, Milky Way, Moon, Sunrise, Sunset, Architecture, Star Trails, Drone, Metor Shower, Solar Eclips, Lunar Eklips, Time LaPes, Dispains, Traveling, traveling.
And yes, it works offline. Learn more on photos.
Sky guide
Free: IOS (“Light” version available)
Sky guide is an astronomy app that will satisfy someone with a wide, scalable (through a normal pinching method), and the configy maps of the stars show all the astronomical objects you know and love.
You can read about detailed information by searching or searching an astronomical object. Which includes comets! And yes, it is also an international space station! You can turn the constellations turned on or off (I usually close it). Leam more Fifthstarlabs.com,
Note: Sky guide is no longer available on Android. However, Star Walk 2 Is, and it is also free. And this is also good.
Photographer’s almanac
$ 9.99: Android or IOS
Photographer’s almanac is an app and a web-based tool that uses map-based tools and promoted reality to imagine light direction and astronomical phenomena, help in location scouting and timing photo opportunities. I should confess, I have not used it in some time. When I finish, I will download the app and fix it. It is fantastic to determine that the moon, the sun and more light will illuminate the light landscape. You can imagine where specific stars or milky they will be on a map. You can also determine that hills or other objects can block the Sun or Moon. And this is much higher than this. Learn more in TPE.
Sleeping sleepy
Free: IOS
Wonder! You were not expecting this, were you? I need to place you on your toes.
Suffering asleep, a completely descriptive name for an app. If I have ever heard of one, there is a pile of naturally recorded sounds that continue to loop and overnight. You can mix rich sounds such as rainforest, gentle waves, South African cricket, campfire, or Pawan Jhankar. I have been using this app to create a soothing environment for many years and feel as soon as I sleep late. It does a good job of taking out cheap motal rooms that contain air conditioners or heaters that pop and wake you up.
It works very well in creating a soothing atmosphere and mashes annoying sounds after a long night of night photography. Even better, you can mix and match the mixture so that you have to play your favorite together. This will save them so that you can always play them. I said yes!
It is only available for iOS, but apps, such as Sleep on AndroidTo help you sleep like a rock. We deserve it, right?
