From architect: ,Between beautiful hills, facing the beach and kattetgate, the Heatherhil Beach House is a harmonious mix of Danish architectural traditions and contemporary innovation. As you step into the house, you immediately understand the calm effect. The purpose of each design option and architectural convenience is to enhance the feeling of arrival and is designed to integrate with the beauty of its surroundings.
“With this ground-up project, we discovered the perception of a traditional Danish summerhouse in nature. This approach is reflected as the primary material as the size of the structures and the choice of wood. To create a sense of comfort within different levels, while maximizing the ideas of the landscape. Create a striking silhoot.
“Inside, the emphasis on materiality is evident in every detail. Using lyriced dougus cedar planks from dinesen throughout the interior, from floor to walls and ceilings, adds heat and continues to promise home with the environment. Timber-clad in living room. In the 60s, in the 60s, affect space with a sense of heritage.
“The architecture of the house is beautifully manifested from the sunken living room, providing a frame -rich view of the minimum kitchen, pronounced by a silver travertine island. Douglas wood, natural bricks and use of travertine in the entire house, combine with the surrounding natural atmosphere, combine the house with its settings.
“The origin of the design concept is a commitment to real materiality that attachs the senses. All surfaces and textures are chosen to create a place that not only enticing the eyes, but also resonated with a sense of touch.
