The purpose of restaurants, which serve street food, including Wonten, Noodles and Custard Buns, also aim to incite the feeling of Hong Kong through the use of a color palette with a party vibe.

“We have always worked with red and green – it’s in our DNA – but for the disco we cooled the tone, made them sharp, moodier,” he said.

“This is a palette directly from the neon nights of Hong Kong: the colors that do not just sit on the walls, but glow with glow and shift with shifts,” he said.

“With neon, red deepens, greens punch is hard, and hums with a sexy glowing place.”

“I found him behind an Asian grocery store in the US years ago, shook on a dusty shelf,” he said. “They spend nothing next to nothing, but they were gold for me. I bought them all, knowing that they would find their moment.”

“In disco, they hang like a small burst of apathy similar to dreams, cut through concrete and steel and bring human touch back into space.”
