Mark II accepts 77 mm filter thread similar to Z 70-200 mm F2.8 instead of a large 82 mm filter used by the current 24–70 mm.
Nikon also says that the “Silky Swift” Voice-Coil Autofocus motor is about 5x faster than the previous version, the scan time reduced by 40% and improving by 60% tracking.
