This is my go-to High-protein flour recipeYou are so good, incredibly easy to create, and super versety-so that I have used it as a base for so many high-protein recipes on fit Foody (sharing all of them below).
This flour packs 20 grams of protein per serving, and is perfect for both sweet and charming dishes. Protein-Pack Gupt? Skier yogurt or mixed cottage cheese! This is correct, you can use either one in this recipe and they will add both a ton protein.
High-protein dough material
- all purpose flour: AP flour is the basis of this dough. It helps in making the right crispy and chewing dough when baked. We have not tested this recipe (yet) with gluten-free AP flour or almond flour.
- Plain skier yogurt, Greek yogurt or mixed cheese: I tested this recipe with skier yogurt, Greek yogurt, and mixed cottage cheese, and all were great in connecting both the right amount of protein and moisture. Painterland sisters If you have not yet tried it, then skier curd is my jam.
- baking powder: Because there is no yeast in this dough, it requires baking powder as a leaving agent. Do not leave it!
- sea salt: Every dough requires a lil salt, even when you are making sweet dishes!
Greek yogurt or mixed cottage cheese are great options for skier yogurt in this recipe. Both are still full of protein and will give you similar results.
I like to use 2% – 4% fat content cottage cheese for this dough because if you go to less fat/nonfat, the water content is more.
