As the title shows, your recent location section will show you the list of all the places you have seen recently. Above the list, a carousel of filters sits above the region, category, saved, and maps history. Each of these provides many ways to filter filters. For example, when you tap on the category, you will see food and drinks, culture, shopping, attractions and options to filter by hotel.
On the right of each listed location, you will see a bookmark icon and a three-dot menu. As you may probably guess, the bookmark allows you to save a location in a list. Meanwhile, the vertical three dots open a menu where you can share the location, see visits and maps history, or remove a place from your history.
This new tab section is not the only new feature we have recently hidden in the Google Map. We also learned that Google is working on something to make it easier Share a list of search results With others.
